Dear Board Members:

We the undersigned owners and residents of Chateaux Du Lac are in favor of making changes to property management that will better meet the needs of our community. We are cognizant that the administrative position at HMI held by our current manager may in part be making it difficult to adequately address the needs of our community in the timely and efficient manner that we require for matters both large and small. We find the current lack of responsiveness and the manner of handling issues, or lack thereof, unacceptable.

It is our hope that we continue to retain HMI Management as the current management company; but instead, use another manager within their organization, one that is exceptionally rated and comes highly recommended. Keeping HMI could avoid difficulties, such as the transfer of records, that might occur if we changed organizations.

If this step fails, our next recourse would be to use a different property management company. We feel it will be worth the effort. The current situation cannot continue and needs to be addressed prior to the renewal of the existing contract if not sooner.

We would like a manager that is able to respond to our emails and phone calls. We would like a manager that will bring matters to closure in a timely manner. There are numerous matters, some urgent, that are not getting addressed adequately. We feel a change would save everyone time, energy, protect our investment, improve our property, make it safer and reduce the added stress we experience.
