After talking to Charter about getting data in our area. Currently we're around 3,700-4,000 ft from the nearest service node. The cost for a single person is prohibitive to get services. However, a large enough group, they mentioned 10 or more would get Corporate escalation to cover more cost if not all of the cost. Just for comparison, data for AT&T U-verse is still a DSL type connection. Charters bandwidth is up to 100 Mbps so it surpasses anyone around here.

We just hit the threshold where Charter has to start listening to our proposal. Post this link on your neighborhood Facebook group today to make sure your neighbors are on the list. Email your local representative to demand they help us secure this infrastructure upgrade.
