This is terrible. I have a health condition that affects my bladder, which means waiting to use the toilet isn't an option. If I were a student there I'd need to either not drink or risk detention for a natural bodily function. Schools shouldn't try to restrict necessary bodily functions of children just because their facilities are inadequate. Besides, why would the time a child uses the toilet affect whether or not it would be vandalised?

Absolutely ridiculous, access to a toilet is a basic human right! With my bladder issues I would have accidents daily - unless I kept myself dangerously dehydrated!

Absolute disgrace. As an adult, if I need the loo I go, and if my employer tried to stop me it would be employment tribunal time. This could lead to serious health issues even for healthy kids if it's causing them to hold on for hours, or if they end up dehydrated because they're not drinking. It's also an appalling way to treat young women and any students who may have hidden disabilities that are exacerbated by this idiotic policy

Poor treatment of students you are responsible for safeguarding and treating with dignity. How can you expect students to move on to have value in their careers and life if you are not offering them the most basic necessities of conditions.

Disgusting kids can’t just go to the toilet!! If a student pee’s their pants that’s opening the doors to so much unnecessary bullying, or kids not drinking water to avoid needing the toilet, or having to chose between food and using the toilet on their lunch. LUDICROUS.

That is absolutely disgusting.. My daughter was to scared to ask to use the toilet in middle school because she was told no and shouted at.. nw she has bladder problems that may not get any better

Ethan goes there. His whole time there have had so many problems with him about the toilets and not drinking at all all day long. Have asked them and told them so many times to give him toilet pass or let him go as he has problems with his stomach and not drinking. Have told him to now just walk out of class if they don't let him go. He doesn't drink anything at all while at school everyday because of the toilet issues
