Prue never crossed over and has been fighting demons alone. She did not want to tell her sisters because she wanted them to live their lives and not spend it trying to help her, but a demon is testing to kill Them and trap them in the same limbo world. Prue contacts Grams and her mother (who knew about Prues battle, but promised never to reveal) to return their memories back.
