A few average speed cameras would have worked alot better on the a34 than all this work that has been carried out without proper consultation and without thoroughly been thought out . Birmingham city council introduced average speed cameras on the a45 over servaral locations and its worked incredibly well without the need for all this money been wasted on painting red patches on the road!!! I hope walsall council take notice and implement the same and it would be a good idea if someone from planning in the our council took a drive along the a45 to Birmingham airport and have a look at the calmness that motorists drive at with the introduction of average speed cameras and take note!

If the traffic problems on the A34 and surrounding side roads /estates aren't bad enough now as a result of these changes, what will happen when Jnc 10 "improvements" start?

I work for the NHS on call, this new road layout is having a massive affect on how quick I can respond to a patient who is seriously ill and in need of help.
Not only that, the level of air pollution is already ridiculously high, this is not helping the problem at all.

Ridiculous toad layout. There was never any traffic on this stretch of Birmingham Rd during rush hour. Clearly this has not been thought out, a big mistake has been made!

This road layout is a joke, the amount of congestion it has caused for commuters is rediculous

This change is causing congestion on to junction 7 and the motorway itself. How dangerous, when will the council put this right?
