I dont go super often, mainly because of the unpleasant interactions i had with the current TO and the inappropriate responses/behavior ive seen him do towards staff and attendees.

If it's a community based decision, I choose to unfortunately go with the majority.

I dont go anymore because of Maro being the TO. if he isnt TO, i can avoid the interactions, but i cant if he is. he is always condescending and impatient.

Rarely see him actually TOing as people have said already. I'm not super good at smash 4 but I dont really want to attend anymore due to his actions. Sucks cause the venue it cool ://

I've gone to several NP9s at this point attending the latest Heatwave and I've always had issues with Maro's TOing. He rarely is actually TOing and constantly disregards players he doesn't know. I'm sorry dude but if you're going to disrespect me time after time refusing to learn one tag and actively ignoring my set because you don't want to deal with loser's bracket you shouldn't TO. I know he's trying and I do appreciate what he's done for the venue and starting up the event but he's never been a good TO in every NP9 I've been at. He just isn't ready yet to TO and needs some more time to learn how to truly host the event and work well with its players rather than just his friends.

Honestly I have no personal problems with maro. However almost everytime I’m there Dragonite (tpwn) is running the tournament. That paired with the fact that np9 has had problems since the beginning, I think this could be a good change. I hope this petition can be taken seriously because with the amount of signatures now I feel like at least some change should occur if not a replacement.

I don't go to np9 because 1) too far 2)Have heard many things about Maros toing and even had someone I know told him to sign him up because he was going to be late and then got denied into bracket once he got there (even though bracket BARELY started)

I don't dislike Jacob as a person, but after attending many NP9s, I think that having him step down as TO would be really beneficial. He's nether mature enough or responsible enough for the job, has very low ability to take criticism without becoming defensive or shifting blame, and often isn't even the person actively TOing during the tourney anymore. I'm grateful for what he's done in securing the venue, but in the vested interest of the weekly's success, a new TO feels like a necessary next step.

It would be better to just let Dragonite TO imo

Yeah... I really don’t have a personal problem with Maro but it seems like someone else might to a better job. I’m just going along here

Most everytime i go, maro isnt even really TOing and he is just arguing/yelling at the staff or something about setups or stream or entrant count. He isnt very polite and is very stubborn/hard headed

When i went to my first NP9, I asked about the rules and maro rudely told me to check the facebook page. I said sorry, i didnt know and then he walked off laughing and talking to others "how do you not know the rules"

I asked maro a question 1 time about stage striking and he scoffed at me, rolled his eyes, and didnt answer me.

From personal experience and word of others, Jacob Erly is not fit to be a T.O. Especially for Playlives NP9, from giving attitude to others, cussing purposly infront of kids, and other occurances I have heard, hes not fit to be T.O of Playlive.
