The SCA as we know it is broken, and will only get more broken unless major changes are made. While not perfect, this proposal would be a step in the right direction.

I've been a paid member of the SCA since 1977. I have great respect for the people who have served on the Board, some of whom have been friends of mine. This proposal isn't perfect but it's a step in the right direction. I have been saying for years - decades - that the BoD should be elected by the Kingdoms. I hope this petition receives the consideration it deserves, and I am willing to assist in its implementation if asked.

The members of the boards up till now have done some great work, and worked hard for all of us, but the times they are a'changin, and it's time for this change.
