I have recently spoken to an expert who has completely opened my eyes to a different side of our nations first president. George Washington was a man of great bravery, courage, and character. He was a very happy man during his lifetime and as he is falsely depicted in many paintings by artist interpretations as being stern and harsh. I believe the depiction of him in the one dollar bill is one of the worst pictures ever made of Washington. That all can be changed to a picture of him that is more accurate such as the one made of him after he won the Revolutionary War, a tall, brave man who is smiling! I think American should remember George Washington as the young, brave, and will-spirited man he really was and not some grumpy old man! Lastly i would like to thank everyone for reading my petition and please sign so we can create a better ever-lasting memory of one of the nations greatest heroes. This is the picure that i believe should be depicted of Washington in the one dollar bill.
