The law is rather useless. Causes more harm than good. Protection from the sun is beneficial for the occupants of the vehical and the safety of the drivers around them.

We need to have darker tint on our windows, it's a public safety feature. Avoid overheating of the driver and the cabin, makes driving the vehicle safer and makes the road way more visible, because window tint polarizes the view out. No more glare, which is great during day and night time.

First time I had 8% tint in a vehicle and I loved how much cooler my truck was and it let's in less light so it helps with the glare I think the law is dumb but I do see it from both sides, Utah is a desert state and the state should let us have lower tint for that reason!

This law needs to change I live in Southern Utah where it get well over 100 degrees in the summer and it keeps my car cool not only for me but my wife a baby girl

Let’s at least get on board with other states, I’ve driven with 22% on my windshield and front sides for almost 2 years and haven’t had visibility problems at all! Let the cops focus on actual crimes!

I think we need to change the Utah Tint law, so at least the back windows can be dark as possible for the sake of our kids in the summer. Please change it

I completely agree with this. I always roll every window down possible and keep my hands on the wheel when stopped by policemen in hopes to ease their approach on me. I should not be required to have a certain tint on my windows because it does not hinder me in any way.
