Supposed to be the best school in the city, just doesn’t make any sense that these children don’t have a p roper field to play on.

Students really push to play sports and maintain good grades. The school gains recognition from the Students and coaches efforts. They should get better equipment and accolades. My son is on the swim team and lacrosse and can't believe that the district does not help keep up the structure of the field and the pool. The teams are winning so that's a good thing but the support to upgrade would show appreciation.

First COVID and now this? The first girls lacrosse team in the city and they can't play another home game this year? Plant the grass next month!

It is also unfair to the LAX teams and other spring sports that rely on that field to have to forgo use of the field during May and June. Have the work done in the summer, instead.

Our football team deserves this. They show up and show out for the city of Detroit it’s time to do the same for them!! Give them the proper field/platform to put in work!! #CTFB
