The bait and switch on the exam format was honestly so unfair. We all studied for multiple choice and got hit with free response questions we never even practiced. Hard to succeed when the goals are moving targets.

An easy class turned into a confusing slope of difficulty. The homework and quizzes rarely prepare you for the exams, nor do the lectures. There are no practice problems to work with when having math involved such as quantitative traits, and vague lectures turn into specific questions on the exam. If the professors are happy with a 50% median, then you will know they are happy giving the bare minimum. Never had a class like this, and I took Chemistry (which means a lot).

Professors copy the textbook onto slides and just reads them put during lecture. These professors do not provide enough extra material to understand the material properly and there’s not enough outside of the classroom either.

Along with what Alan has commented, those scores would be a C if there were perfect score on quizzes and homework or at least meeting the maximum of 25 points between the two. This seems unlikely given the lack of explanation and low test grades, the point system should be reconsidered in our benefit as well as employing more extra credit to help your students.

Average score was a 64 on the first exam and a 50 on the second. At this rate the average grade in the class is a C. And I did the math out of 200+ students less than 10 students have a solid A and a little less than a handful have a high B. Unacceptable in terms of thinking the average to above average student has an understanding of the material that was given.
