We the loved ones of mcj inmates are forced to endure several and frustrating protocols,excessive fees,and unreliable procedures when attempting to visit,schedule;send money to our loved ones as described as follows....#1..scheduling a visit by phone,no one ever answers,thus family,friends have to go to the visit window to schedule visit.....some of us work,lack transportation,or aren't physically able to make this trip on a wkly basis.....why don't they answer the phone??????#2VISIT WINDOW Why does it open at 850am?this makes it difficult for the 845am visitor to schedule a visit with out risking being late and missing their scheduled visit#3The visitation doors are supposed open at 830am and deputies usually open them late letting visitors wait in the cold if they are to open late shouldn't the time be changed or shouldn't the deputies open doors on time??#4 THE KIOSK MACHINE usually like 75% of the time is down and they charge $2.75 of the top of every deposit wow someones getting rich hope the money goes to the city school district!#5CHARGES FOR INMATE PHONE CALLS TO MCJ MORE EXPENSIVE THEN UPSTATE INCARCERATION for every $25 or $50 spent $4.75 comes off immediately.So in closing if you agree with me and have a loved one doing time for their crime and don't understand why you have to be punished just to try and see,make their stay a little bit easier and want to see are elected officials make changes please sign this petition and let your signature speak for you......Thank you!
