Our children & the elderly especially need to feel safe crossing the road, though any of us could be hit by someone not paying attention or speeding. Let's make our roads a safer place for all

It's a bout time this section of great North Road is sorted out.
There have been numerous car accidents and children being knocked down over the past few years.
The local authority needs to sort this road out before it becomes a fatality.
If nothing is done and there is a fatality then the local authority will be held accountable for not doing anything about it.

I want great north road castle terrace and Steyton road to be a 20mph zone.
With sleeping police men in road by the junction of black bridge and castle terrace.
Before another child is seriously injured or worse killed

Absolutely awful road! The amount of near misses I've seen since I was a child is bad enough!! Thoughts go out to the poor boy who was hit yesterday x
