Changes must be done to the great north road in Milford haven Pembrokeshire

Couldn't agree more. Very busy road with lots of school children passing daily.

it's a very hard road to cross as traffic is very fast and it is a very hard road to cross my daughters friend was knocked over there 13 years ago trying to cross the road

My little brother was with the child who got hit and I feel that it is ridiculous that nothing like this has ever been done before, that road is so busy and cars go too fast for anyone to cross

Well done on starting this pettition, im now 46 years old and grew up i the area, i can remember when i was young, all the parents saying there should be a crossing put there, but it ended up being put at the liwer central school.

You cannot wait until a tragedy happens! Something needs to be done now to prevent one!! Thankfully these boys are here to tell the tale but who knows the next time!! Start focusing public money on public protection!!!!!

I believe that there should be traffic lights on Marble Hall corner. This would help with the large flow of traffic at this junction and would also provide safe crossing of the road.

The Great North Road junction with Marble Hall Road is difficult to traverse in a car. The recent accident has also highlighted that it is also particularly difficult and dangerous for pedestrians to cross the main road, without the aid of a traffic calming system. Traffic lights needed before we suffer another accident.

this is a very dangerous road and cars travel at speed I have worried about my own grandkids crossing it, should have been made safe years ago

accidents keep happening with pedestrians and cyclists on this stretch of road so there needs to be a crossing here for them

The County Council has formally adopted the UNCRC. Article 3 states that Adults, or in this case, the Local Authority "should have the best interests of children as the primary concern in making decisions that may affect them". I'd like to see this road changed with the best interests of children taken into account.

Absolutely disgusted that a petition has to be raised for better road crossing implementation of road safety at one of Milford havens most congested junctions. What are we paying taxes for exactly? This issue should be of paramount importance at all times not just when an incident occurs!!!!

There has been many accidents at these junctions, pedestrians, cars and bikes. Traffic lights at the crossroads to marble hall, would help as a traffic calming method, and also make it safer and easier to negotiate either direction.

I agree something should be done in north road Milford haven my auntie and her best friend many years ago and she stayed in hospital for 8 months.
