The local council officially approved the traffic safety upgrades for Great North Road today. We secured the commitment for new pedestrian crossings and speed reduction measures. I am monitoring the project schedule to ensure construction begins on time.
I want changes made to the great north road in Milford my son was hit by a car last year he was in a very bad way and was air lifted to Morrison hospital but thank god he made a good recovery he wasn't the only person to be hurt on this road and something needs to be done and now! This road is used a lot by school children and their parents please sign and help me to make this road safe. Thanks Jane
We are approaching five hundred signatures which is the threshold required to trigger a formal response from the local council. I have a meeting scheduled with the highways department and I need this target met to ensure they take our safety concerns seriously at that table.

The Marble Hall/Pill Road junction with Great North Road has been a death-trap for years. At the very least it needs a pedestrian crossing, and ideally a four-way traffic light system to control the speed of vehicles on North Road.

I want great north road castle terrace and Steyton road to be a 20mph zone.
With sleeping police men in road by the junction of black bridge and castle terrace.
Before another child is seriously injured or worse killed

Traffic lights have been needed at the crossroads at North Rd. Marble Hall Rd and Pill Rd for vehicles and pedestrians alike for years. Very dangerous stretch of road and with 2 serious accidents in the last year something needs to be done now before a fatal accident happens.

This road is designed for car owners only- no consideration is made for pedestrians whatsoever- despite it being the busiest road in town. No crossing keeper at the school gate and no pedestrian crossings at several major crossing points.

That road is extremely dangerous and cars speed along there. I have had several cars go through the lights in North Road when they were on RED while I was trying to cross. The traffic needs to be slowed down and make it safer for people to cross the road.
