Please sign this petition if you would be IN FAVOR of Destination Imagination teams being held personally responsible for the organization and execution of fundraising, should they choose to accept an invitation to Global Finals.
This would mean that the team, managers, and parents would fundraise for the team independently of the school. The total balance required would be submitted to the school at a deadline set by the school. The school would help with funding their team(s) however they see fit and budget allows.
I truly believe this luxury would open so many doors for teams to fundraise creatively and help DI flourish in our community!

Teams should be aloud to fundraise as they see fit, for their children and not have to be held back by red tape and roadblocks.
Fundraising should be a positive experience. At the end of the day no one will turn down money donated so why should it be so difficult especially in a small town like Salisbury where everyone is fighting for similar donors.
Give our teams a chance!
This should be common sense. If someone wants to give money, they should be allowed to. Why would you turn away money to send the kids?

Not only are to teaching them to do what it takes to reach their goals and dreams, but you are giving them responsibility. Don't be who stops their dream and ruin what parents teach their child that hard work and commitment do pay off. Thank you for your consideration and look forward to a positive outcome.
