Having reasonable start times for school, and thus a reasonable amount of time to sleep, would make the management of my depression significantly easier.

This would be great not only for students health but also for their ability to absorb knowledge.

If students are expected to be able to be well-rounded, they should be given the tools by the necessary parties to achieve that status, and having an appropriate start time is one of them.
Block scheduling might work too....

I rarely go to bed before 1 am because I'm up doing homework, which is also excessive

Fully support switching elementary and high school start times. The little ones naturally wake up earlier and our high schoolers need extra morning sleep. Thanks!

As a graduating senior, I can strongly say that I wish that the start time of school had been changed earlier because I was always tired in school and never got enough sleep to even focus in my morning classes.

We need our sleep! It’s important for us to have our best foot forward and to tart the day feeling rested and ready to learn.

I feel like 8:00 may be a little late but maybe 7:30. Possibly 8:00 too. I’m always tired and sleeping in on the weekends doesn’t make up for it.

The health and well-being of our students has to be the #1 goal, and later school start times are a great step toward this goal!
