The logistical nightmare of running this trial during the Galway Races is becoming clearer by the day. I have been spending my mornings on the phone trying to explain why this venue choice is completely impractical for everyone involved.

The momentum behind this request proves I am not the only one worried about the chaotic state of the roads during race week. It is a relief to see so many people prioritizing safety and common sense for this match.

Why not change it to tuam stadium. There won't be 5,000 there if it's in salthill
5 hour round trip from Claregalway to Salthill. Crazy decision by the CCCC. Match should b in Tuam r even Croke Park. Rossie supporters deserve better.

A sunny day in galway salthill at least 4 hours to get through to pitch
The GALWAY races will make it very challenging for access to match

This is a disgrace. Roscommon should not have to go to Salthill, traffic is awful bad in Galway and loads of roundabouts too with lights on them. Its pure stupid. Whats wrong with Tuam? John Prenty are you mad?
