So has anyone had a family violence order put on them or their partner by the police when it really wasn't called for. It was only for a normal arguement no violence involved, no threats involved etc. then have had to go to the hassle of going through court to have it varied so's that you can still be with your loved one. We think these orders need to be changed. We don't think the police should be aloud to issue one unless the person involved requests for one to be issued. Why is one of these orders needed for just a normal arguement? They aren't. Yes if your getting bashed by your partner then one is needed but not for just an arguement. If you agree please sign the petition so that we can then pass it on to our politicians and the police and see what we can do to have these changed. Thank you
