"The homeless are people hiding in plain sight."

Consider the story of a homeless girl named Rebecca. Her father abuses her and when she turned twelve years old her mother moved out and remarried. As a result, Rebecca is subject to her father's abuse without any help. When she turned sixteen she finally gained the courage to move out. However, with barley a highschool education and little savings she was unable to find shelter and currently sleeps in abandoned houses and buildings.

 

Now consider the above image. The statement is ironic and alludes to the fact that no matter what the homeless beg for, the preconceptions that exist among society will remain prevalent.  As a result, the following image represents what many organizations and homeless strive to achieve:
