There are lots of sex offenders out there that are trying to be productive members of society and work a job and notre offend. I am one of thoes people, i know that this law was not in effect when i wasoriginallysentenced and ex post facto states that a law cannot be applied to go back after the sentence was imposed which you can read here (http://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/Ex+post+facto) but it was and i am not at all saying that there should not be a law that covers offenders that wereincarceratedprior to thesex offenderregistration act which is what this law was suppose to be targeting but idon'tbe-leavethat a constantly changing sentence should be imposed after the fact there are lots of first or one time offenders that made a mistake and have notre offendedthat are now having there sentences alteredwhetherthey know it or not all i want is fair treatment and a chance to get on with my life not to be punished my whole life for a mistake i made when i was still a kid 18 years old. thank you for reading this.
