The disqualification of those with ADHD from military service needlessly bars many motivated and exceptional candidates from serving their country.

Are we signing just for support of you? Or is this being sent to a congressman to have this jurisdiction changed?

I Have ADHD, im a senior in High school, and dont want my life dream to be cast away. people with ADHD do better with a more structured and physical environment, I mean isnt the military both structurally, and physically demanding. ,

I am 19 I wanted to be in the Marines ever since I was in 1st grade and I sadly found out this year that I can not because I have ADHD and take medicine for it. I pray that this petition or something similar to it will get passed and I can fulfill my dreams to serve in the United States Marines.

Haven't taken meds in 5 years. did poorly in high school due to the fact i did not try hard enough so they are blaming the ADHD for that. Regardless if i made an 80 on the ASVAB, I've been told to go get a year of college done with superior grades and I can try again so that's what I'm doing. The military is the only place in life i want to be and they are making it so difficult to acheive that. I have several psychiatrist letters stating i do not suffer from any medical conditions for years and they are still putting me through all of this
