Final supporters
HSM was our childhood, it shaped us into the people we are today. We still love the cast and crew like they are our family.
HSM 4 will not be the same without the original cast and crew...without Kenny. HSM is more than just a movie, its a legacy... lets not allow Disney to tarnish that legacy by using the HSM name in a 4th movie with different people! People don't understand that Zac, Vanessa, Ashley, Corbin, Monique, Lucas, Chris, Ryan, Kaycee, Olesya, Bart and Kenny ARE HSM. They are the heart and soul of the trilogy. It's NOT HSM without them.
I'm not trying to stop a 4th movie, because I know that's not going to happen. All I'm saying is, DON'T USE THE NAME. The name is a legacy, the name is our childhood!
Just make a new movie with the same feel, set in the same universe, with links to HSM... BUT don't name it HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL... because nomatter how hard disney tries, nomatter how great the actors are, nomatter how amazing the storyline is... HELL, even if the new movie is better than the original (highly doubt that)... it still WON'T BE HSM!

Two hundred and fifty people actually agree that the legacy matters more than just slapping a label on some random project. I was sitting here staring at my screen thinking about the old dance numbers and honestly it feels wild that this many people are just as protective of the original trilogy as I am.

Why would the name of this movie be "High School Musical 4" if the ORGINAL cast from all 3 movies aren't in it? This isn't a 4, this is simply a new movie, using the old title for more viewers.
Ce n'est pas possible. On rêvait tous d'un HSM 4, c'est vrai, mais un avec le cast original. Soit un vrai HSM 4, soit (et oui je préfère encore) rien du tout. Merci.
I grew up on hsm. I was in the 5th grade when it first came out. I remember troy and his crew and everything. Change the name..Hsm(THE TRILOGY) was the best disney movie ever...

I totally agree, it won't be the same without the original cast not even if they are the best actors ever, disney should at least try to get the original cast back together.... HSM4 should be about after college or high school reunion with the original cast, not people who aren't part of the high school musical legacy.!!!
