...or The Sir Terry Pratchett Library for short
The great and much esteemed author Sir Terry Pratchett was a local lad who worked for many years as a journalist for the Bucks Free Press covering High Wycombe.
Anywhere else in the world would be rightly proud of having such a native son and would let the world know about it. Yet we have absolutely nothing to commemorate his amazing contribution to the world of books.
In his work Sir Terry has always held libraries in the highest regard (Ook!) and it seems only fitting that we recognise and celebrate this.
High Wycombe should be taking every opportunity to promote its links with a man who has sold over 85,000,000 books and has been translated in 37 languages.
How better to begin that recognition than to rename our central library in honour of his work?
A genuine thank you for adding your signature.
