Since Mojang changed the EULA, server owners are forced to agree to their EULA before running a server. A very important change is that you are not allowed to earn money off Minecraft.

It is understandable that Minecraft wants this in their EULA, but server owners will stop running new servers because they are not allowed to earn money with Minecraft, so they can't pay the bills for running a server. Minecraft artists, who make parodies, drawings and more, aren't allowed to sell their work as it's using Minecraft content. Mojang has to change this, or it'll destroy the game and its community. If Minecraft doesn't have a community, or if it loses it's community, Minecraft will die out with no players.
