I LOVE the event and the support that they are giving the NRHA, BUT NRHA should not have earnings count since it is invitational and not based on any kind of fair selection process....it could be on their record but with an asterisk and not counted towards LTE

71055 - This is a wonderful event that should be showcased as just that, an event! This event will bring great recognition to the sport of reining, but should not be treated like a show. An invitation only event with its own pay schedule should remain just that, an event. Great fun is to be had by all involved and reining will be shown to those who may never have another opportunity to see such a unique sport. This is an exhibition, not a show and the earnings should not be included in lifetime earnings of either horse, or rider!

I think the earning should not count toward lifetime earnings.

As one who has an all time top earning horse as well as a possibility of having a horse in this event, I could not agree more. I have worked very hard with my trainers not only financially but a lot of time and energy. A one time event should not take presidence over what we have all worked so hard for. I could not swallow twlling someone that my milliondollar run horse just ober took my too 25 all time earner. It is just wrong and this is coming from someone who could possibly have a horse and trainer in the game. It will be a fun one time show with chosen people. Let it remain what it is and do the right thing for everyone. Earnings from horse no rider should not count.

#44672 Invitationals like this and any other creative shows to come provide good exposure for the industry but need to be placed in a separate designation now. Keep it fair!

Great exposure for the sport but to count the $ towards LTE of horse, rider or owner of a few select people who were hand picked & didn't have to qualify is NOT right for the whole organization. And more concerning is the conflict of interest of the BOD & EC who decided this

Wonderful event for the sport of reining. However, these earning should be recognized in a separate category and more transparency in regards to the details of the show should be provided to members considering it is an approved event.

I support the show and look forward to it. But: 1. To have an invitational is not what I feel is a problem, the selection procedure as stated was not followed. 2. The earnings should NOT count towards LTE of horse/rider/owner/breeder because it is an invitational. Please create a Category 13 for these kind of shows.
