This is a great opportunity to showcase our industry, but it has been handled all wrong. The selection process is secret and those chosen will get a chance to win a million that will go towards LTE thus changing the history books in one run forever. It is not fair to breeders and trainers alike that have worked tirelessly for decades to raise and promote their exceptional horses to only have it all overshadowed with one run. Please reconsider how the selection process has been handled, be transparent and do not make these earning count towards the LTE.

I can understand this event IF the earnings don't go towards the NRHA. Or all million dollar riders should have the opportunity to participate. This takes away the million dollar rider, sire and dam and the meaning behind the work that goes into it. Major politics on the riders selected.

Excited about the event, but a separate invitational category should be set up and the earnings should not be calculated in LTE.

I do not support the money going to horse or rider LTE. But, I’m ESPECIALLY concerned with the clear conflict of interest exhibited by the BOD and EC. Fix this.

Sounds like a very exciting event. And good for the industry... however an invitational should not count towards Nrha earnings ....
