The event would bring attention and exposure farther reaching audiences because of the platform provided by Yellowstone and other generous sponsors. I am planning to attend with full support of those sponsors with one caveat. Since there was not a qualification process outlined or performed and the contestants were by invitation only not by competition, any earnings should NOT be counted toward LTEs. The NRHA earnings have historically been determined by competition and changing that now unravels the "fair" aspect of true competition and undermines the integrity of the organization.

I believe that there should be a new category 13 added for events such as this one.

18923.
Agree that there should be a separate category for invitational shows.
Board has a conflict of interest here and should reverse previous decision.
Integrity of lifetime earnings should be protected.

I think the event is great, but any invatational class shouldn’t go towards NRHA LTE

60527. Please make the right choice and uphold our history. Add a category for invitational events. Not really fair to hand pick players to play a game and let then leap frog so many that work thier butts off in one event. Horses, riders, owners, and breeders are effected.

I plan to go watch this event, however it should not count as nrha earnings.
My horse has 15000 in earnings although only 5000 is nrha.

Any money earned in an invitational that is not open to all nrha members should not count as LTE. Much less one that all participants make $15,000. Level 1 riders struggle to win a check as is that will cover expenses when most added money goes to the 1% level 4 guys. Rob the poor to pay the rich and now don’t even include them!
