I feel like instead of girls being shamed for their bodies, boys should be taught that we aren't sexual objects. I should be able to wear shorts if it's hot out and not get I trouble.

I support this, BUT did you notice in the email, the dress code didn't actually change? It mentioned how leggings, yoga pants, etc. had been allowed for the past two years. I want to warn you that no one will be satisfied once they realize they are still not allowed to show bra straps or wear crops tops!

ok yes we changed the leggings rule but what about open toes shoes and shorts and the spaghetti straps!! I really want to change that rule. don't mean to push it but can we make a petition for that too?????????

What if I'm a girl and like to be active at Breaks but I can't because this freaking school bands girls to wear running shorts, leggings, yoga pants, and my tank tops but boys can wear what ever athletic clothes they want. THIS DRESS CODE IS FUCKED UP

The school wants us to dress appropriately for the work place. What if I want to become a yoga instructor or personal trainer? They wear leggings and yoga pants for their profession.
