This petition is to stop animal abuse, change the laws in Cyprus and to create a RSPCA of some kind for the island. People who abuse and kill animals will be put on a Animal Offenders Register and will be fined, jail sentence and also monthly checks if they ever have another animal. No animal deserves any type of cruelty, don't want a dog or cat? don't own one and make it suffer. Stand up, be heard, change. The country is uneducated and as it is many animals suffer daily it cannot go on and must change this petition will be to put all these acts into place to prevent any more suffering. What I want to happen is the RSPCA of the island to be in charge of checks on all abuse cases not the government also the veterinary staff in charge of this will work along side the RSPCA. 1,000 names are needed.
