Across the U.S we've been celebrating the news that love wins. Unfortunately here in the Cayman Islands it's not the case. The Immigration law in Cayman doesn't recognise LGBT couples. Therefore, they cannot list their spouse as a dependent on their work permit/ immigration papers.

For gay couples, both will have to be employed before moving to the island/ to stay on the island.

This petition aims to change the immigration law to allow gay couples the same immigration rights as heterosexual couples.
