I am Scottish and very proud to be and when asked in any country I have the privilege to visit they also welcome me because of my Scottish heritage and pride in our country. The Scottish flag is flying in my garden and will remain so. Burns night and the Scottish flag go hand in hand.. A bit like haggis, neeps and tatties!!! This should not be a request this should be standard.. Would the Welsh be happy with their flag being abandoned, the Irish, or indeed the English on their dedicated days respectively.
