The Union flag of England is totally inappropriate for the Burns Supper page, Burns was a Scot, not English.

I really think the facebook staff are a bit out of touch when it comes to geography and national status. There is neither consistency nor accuracy in your icons.

Burns was Scottish through and through and detested the union of parliaments.

Scotland is a country and has it's own flag. The union flag belongs to no country, as the name suggests it is the symbol of a union growing more unpopular every day. Facebook are wrong to ignore Scotland and not give the choice of flying our flag not only on Burns day.

This is a Scottish poet ....if it was William Shakespeare I would expect to see the read and white flag of St George. To use the mixed flags of union is totally inappropriate.

I sleep not very far from Rabbie's final resting place and can confirm that he has been turning in his mausoleum all day long.

Scotland is NOT the UK. The UK isn't even a country. It's a group of countries. This is the equivalent of using the European flag in place of Germany's flag!

Burns night is a Scottish celebration and should be represented by the Saltire Cross, not the Union flag.
