To Facebook and its administrators, We, the undersigned, respectfully request that Facebook change the flag icon for celebrating Burns Supper from the flag of the United Kingdom (the “Union Jack”) to the flag of Scotland (“The Saltire”) for the following reasons:
1) Robert Burns is considered the National Bard of Scotland, not the United Kingdom.

Please recognise that we have to be represented by our national flag as a country that has invented the modern world, and what better way to do it than for our celebration of Rabbie Burns who wrote the song that the whole world sings at the same hour every year! SAOR ALBA

This is just crass stupidityfrom Facebook, the union flag has absolutely nothing to do with Burns, only a complete moron would think it has any relevance.
The Saltire must be used.
