Please change this icon & correct this mistake. Robert Burns also wrote 'Auld Lang Syne' which is sung by millions worldwide every New Year!

Robert Burns was a wonderful poet, social & political observer & commentator, song-writer and preserver of Scottish melodies and songs. He is revered worldwide - yet has been vilified by certain English so-called "academics", ignorant in the truest sense of the word. I'm half English but as the English establishment continually hijacks the Union Jack for its own political purposes let's see some respect here.
Robert Burns should be celebrated by the Saltire!!

It is a disgrace that the Union Jack is flown in memory of Burns. He was a Scot and spoke up for Scotland. Get our own flag up

there are 4 parts to the United Kingdom and each have their own flag 3 of which make up the union flag

Robert Burns is Scotland's national bard, and should be represented by Scotland's flag The St. Andrews Cross. The Union Jack represents the union of Scotland, England and Ireland, thus including 2 countries which have no association with Robert Burns.
