The school rule is for the 4 inch inseam rule or your finger tip length, whichever is longer. This rule is unfair to students who have longer arms. Everyone's arm-length is different and it cant be fair for one student to be wearing a 3 inch inseam the other has to wear a 5 inch inseam just because of their arm-length. They should just stick to one length for everything be fair. Also it is very hard to find school length shorts and worry about if they're too short. They schools rule should be changed just for everyone to at least feel like they have the same rule with other student.
