I think the administrators should focus on much more pressing issues than "I can see a quarter inch of skin, go home and change" Talk about a distraction from learning. What about smaller class size?

No one gets dress coded at my school but I know this is a really big problem in other schools girls shouldn't have to oppress there c self at a place where you are meant to express your self

Dress codes are sexist. They are teaching girls to not dress how they feel comfortable or how they want. Schools should be teaching guys to be respectful and to not feel the need to look at a girl for wearing a pair of denim shorts or having small little slits in a dress. It's messed up and I say if my parents are okay with me walking out of the house a certain way no other adult should get a say. For a country that is pushing for equality we are doing a crap job for the lives of young girls.
