I respect and like Mr.West I just don’t agree with the now enforcement of dress code when we are a number 1 school

I have 2 children that are enrolled in the Pass Christian School district. I love the school district but my daughter has very long arms and legs and this has become an issue for us. I see some of the kids wearing the same shorts that my daughter have but because of her long (monkey) arms as my daughter calls them she can’t wear hers. I hope we can resolve this issue!

If we are the #1 school on the Ms Gulf Coast, why don’t we get privileges such as wearing shorts/leggings?? The students are the ones who make our school so great. The least the school can do is allow students to dress comfortably. We wore shorts/leggings for years and still came out as #1.

We never had any problems with dress code before the new principal came along.

I agree that finger tip is extreme, but I do feel that the shirt/blouse will need to cover the backside when wearing tights!

High school is a place where people are figuring out who they are. Let them express themselves by what they wear

I don’t attend Pass High anymore and this dress code is ridiculous and sexist. The Pass Christian School District might as well enforce uniforms if the dress code is going to favor male students over female students when it should be equal. The dress code is unrealistic when compared to how high the temperatures are this time of year.

I have graduated and didn’t go to pass, but my high school had an extremely strict dress code. So strict, I got sent home for my slip under my dress only touching the top of my kneecap, and the inch of my dress covering my kneecap was “see through.”
Let these kids wear nike shorts/leggings. It’s much easier to learn while being comfortable.
