This process has increase the time for somebody to plan the travel. In first place GNIB registrations having a long queue and now this rentry visa via post will take 5-6 weeks. Visa process should be adopted like done in other developed countries.

Already we have problem with Gnib appointment system it’s take one month to get an appointment. Now I feel like iris government says “ no more immigrants nobody no need to come back “

This change has created and cost our pockets on our flight plans and if any urgency we cannot get the visa .

This is very bad idea, I would say worst. People like us who wants to travel in emergency have to wait and can't go immediately. I request garda (gnib)to make necessary changes which helps all of us to book appointments smoothly.

Irish Immigration department and its formalities, Are the worst among EU countries. why can't they simply get rid of this multi-entry visa, Uk and other EU country they all have just residence card system no re-entry visa thing and fee max 80euro that's all and that too is not required to be renewed every year. If money is the thing they want to make, increase the fee from euro300 to 500euro but do everything under one window and at one time, much less hassle in that and more revenue Irish government will generate in this system.

Even though we obey all the laws, getting days tough day by day.Holding passports for 4-6 weeks is utter bad decision. Online and postal decisions has to make in a week r so.Has to take out this multi entry visa system has to connect every thing to valid GNIB.

When a person allowed to stay in the country has is valid visa but until he/she has multiple entry visa they cannot reenter is really a disturbing, time consuming thing. Since we already pay 300€ For IRP. The person should be able to reenter the country with no additional visa. This is our really very kind request should be considered for some appropriate action please..

This law/rule is simply a cash-cow and seems to be made with a view to harass foreigners. It reflects the poor policy-making of the government that relies on a kind of xenophobia to support its economy.

Please combine GNIB and re-entry visa. For me seems like re-entry visa is just a formality. why we should wait 5 to 6 weeks for just a formality. I think it would be good if they combine everything and do at a time.

Re-entry visa for gnib card holders be abolished, if you wish to charge fee then include it along gnib than two time whammy! At gnib time you stamp the passport, why not ad an extra visa sticker as well, make it much smoother!

It is already a lot to pay for €300 for gnib, irish visa validity stamp which is given on the passport at the time of registration must be recognised as re entry to IRELAND.
