Please make the change, as we are working here and need to apply holidays for traveling back home or emergencies back home.
Not knowing when we can get re entry how could we manage to plan the things accordingly.

This strange law has to be abolished, we have an IRP now why it doesn’t satisfy the entrance ?!
With this such a law, I have no right to travel for approx 5weeks.
Please take our consideration to change this system to ease traveling. Thank you.

I completely agree with this. For long term residents there should be no need to get a re entry visa. Anyway we are getting the IRP, why cant we use it instead as a mechanism to enter the country ?

Please remove it ASAP. We are in 2018 in automation and digital age.And Ireland is one of contributer and lacking behind for ancient processes.

This change shows utter disregard and demonstrates an autocratic attitude towards immigrants in Ireland with little or no rights to even challenge such changes. It fails miserably to take into consideration an emergency situation faced by someone. This system needs to be abolished.
