I strongly support this petition because I find the re-entry visa scheme highly tedious for the students. Especially for those studying in private colleges who might or might not have 80% attendance.

UK gives multiple entry student visa and residence card through through one visa application. Why Ireland can not do this? The current system in Ireland is crazy and unreasonable

There is absolutely no reason why Ireland should have re-entry visas especially for students. The visa granted should last the length of a student's education duration, in line with other jurisdictions.

None of the EU countries have this rule. So I hope Ireland abolishes this redundant requirement, as we already have a long term work permit.

The worst thing about these re-entry visas is that we trust the post with the most precious things we have—our passports, work permits, IRP cards.
