We are finding it safe to send passport and other documents thru post. We are looking for online appointments.

Having in mind that gnib/irp cards need update each year - the re-entry visa system is needless. It only adds more charges to migrants and more paper work to government. Another side is Irish visit on business purposes visas, which can be as long as 2 years (comparing to 1 year for migrants who work and live here).

I travel a lot with work. 5 to 6 weeks wait to get re-entry visa means i can't get my schengan visa for another 3 weeks. That is 9 weeks, a lot of time for someone like me who has to attend meeting in Europe regularly. I would be happy to pay €400 instead of €300 for GNIB stamp. Re-entry stamp is an unnecessary step, either scrap it or make it part of the GNIB stamp so you get all in one go.

Myself and all the immigrants I know work hard to always follow the State's laws and it has worked. I don't see any reason for making changes to the laws which will make it harder for everyone to comply with them and doesn't consider emergency situations in a place with as many compassionate people as Ireland.

It’s very inconvenient, as we cannot travel anywhere at our discreet. We need to plan at least 3 months in advance which is uncertain in a lot of people. We are also paying €300 every year for immigration the least they can do is give us sone freedom to travel whenever we wish like. Hope this will be taken seriously.

The Goverment must abolish the re-entry visa as it does not add any value to immigration control

Hope you get the problem fixed soon. Many thanks It’s perfect time to make some plans for the long run and it’s time to be happy. I have learn this put up and if I may just I desire to recommend you some attention-grabbing issues or advice. Maybe you can write subsequent articles referring to this article. This re entry visa has been the most inconvenient for all of my travel. Because I need the visa application to travel in Europe, Schengen countries require a three month valued Irish visa to apply travel visa. It has make me unable to travel to other Europe countries three month per year.

I strongly feel that both GNIB and Multi entry visa should be made at a time. This would possibly save time and money as well
