We are asking Radnor Township School District to change the pick-up schedule at Radnor Elementary School so that bus riders are picked up at the same time as car riders or before car riders.

Students who take the bus home from Radnor Elementary School must sit inside the school for twenty plus minutes while other students are picked up by cars. As a result, bus riders are coming home at least twenty minutes later than they could be coming home, more and more parents are picking up their students to avoid the late bus drop off, and the township is paying bus drivers to work later. It is a bad cycle. 

RSTD sends home a letter every year encouraging families to participate in bus ridership for numerous reasons. Yet, by allowing car pick-up to occur before bus pick-up, the school district is encouraging parents to pick up their children by car, discouraging bus ridership, and disadvantaging those children who take the bus at Radnor Elementary School.
