The ACO is proposing a spec engine for 2017. This is a good start but it can be better. The whole car needs to be built by one manufacturer utilizing every part to be spec. All tires needs to be spec. The car needs to be open top and the rear wheels enclosed.

This will allow for exciting racing that will build a worldwide fan base of the LMP2 formulae because of the close and exciting racing. This has been proven by other various worldwide spec series'. Why not do it on a global scale and put sportscar racing back on the map. This is what all of the fans want.
