I think this schedule is really confusing. Last year's schedule was a lot easier to follow and most people had an easy time remembering their schedule because of that. A lot of kids who already have a tough time in school will probably have an even tougher time due to the confusing schedule and less class time. Also, lunch is extremely late for the high schoolers, and no one is going to be able to focus in their classes during lunch block.

I feel the schedule is very confusing for students to understand and I think the old schedule worked just fine. Shortening the classes puts more stress on the students and the teachers/staff by causing less material to be reviewed and less time for learning.

Many students last year had trouble focusing during their 4th block class when they had 3rd lunch at 11:30, and many teachers do not allow any sort of snacks in their classrooms, no matter how small it is, even things as little as a small bag of goldfish, pretzels, or Cheez-Its. Now that lunch for 10-12 graders is not until around 12:00 or even as late as 12:30, without the ability to have a small snack during the day, 4th and 5th block for these grade levels will be a disaster. Students will be hungry, and as a result, be irritable, distracted, and unable to focus on learning. Surely, this will affect teachers, too, and 4th and 5th block every day will be extremely unproductive when everybody involved is just counting down the minutes until lunchtime. However, I do appreciate the addition of 5 minutes at the beginning and end of the day for students to stay in their homerooms and get oriented for the day and get everything they need to take home with them for homework. For students that ride the bus, it is difficult to come from a late bus, figure out their schedule for the day, and grab all of their necessary items from their lockers for their upcoming classes. It is also impossible, I repeat, IMPOSSIBLE, for a student to go from a class on the 1st or 2nd floor, up to their locker on the 3rd floor on the opposite side of the school, grab their books and binders that they need for the night's homework from a locker with a combination on it, walk again back to the other side of the school, down 2 flights of stairs, and still catch their bus all while walking at a normal pace. Despite the time before classes that students have for getting ready for the day, the schedule is still way too confusing for everyday use. I myself have forgotten my own schedule once or twice during the previous year put of nowhere, but this will surely happen very often to the majority of students when they forget the schedule and see not able to figure out what their next class is based on

The fact that the schedule has been changed three times since we entered this school, it shows that the administration needs to make up their minds and pick one that will work.

The schedule is way to confusing even though I figured it out it should just be a regular rotation like last year that was perfect and LUNCH IS WAY TO LATE the food atleast better be good

Also, many people can't focus towards the end of the day and with some classes ONLY at the end/beginning, instead of balanced at either time of the day, I feel like a lot of people won't do well in certain classes just because of the schedule times. I feel like this will supremely suck for the school and I hope this petition does something.
