Use 'for profit' funds to build fields specifically for 'for profit' businesses.

As a tax payer and father of three, I've seen the town of STAMFORD lose its " home town " feeling with development company that build beautiful location which alot of people of this town aren't able to use due crazy amount of money. Stamford's youth is being squeezed out due increasing amount of money for kids to participate in youth league , lack of space and now to be closed out due to not being able to go dollar for dollar with corporate giants that have not done anything for the towns youth. As an coach my sole reason is to help that student athlete gain confidence so they can one help someone find they field of dream...can't accommodate this task without an playground , grassy field or baseball diamond to teach those life skills lessons.

It is so important to the Stamford children to have a place to play sports that is affordable and its Govt's responsibility to provide the same. Please don't go after the Money.

It is so important to the Stamford children to have a place to play sports that is affordable. Please don't allow money to come before the well being of our children. Thank you for your consideration.

this makes me sick. i remember playing sports and it was 20 for registration. if kids dont have sports as an outlet stamford better higher more police officers

The city should not allow for profit businesses to use Stamford Fields since they were paid for by Stamford Tax payers. For profit businesses typically only have 30% of their players from Stamford. If for profit businesses are allowed to use Stamford fields it will limit non profit field use.

As a participant in non profit adult leagues, I know how difficult it can be to secure fields. Giving for-profit leagues fields at the expense of the youth and adult not for profit leagues takes advantage of the Stamford taxpayer fields.

As along time resident of Stamford I fought hard with others to get quality playing surfaces installed in Stamford. Stamford youth soccer and adult amateur soccer leagues are thriving. Playing fields are at a premium. Tax money well spent. Do not take the fields away from us..

Youth programs tend to be mr affordable and definitely give scholarships over Chelsea Piers. Stamford Youth need places to play. Chelsea has their property- they can. Build something
