Youth sports inarguably serves well those who directly participate and are equally good for the community as a whole. Taxpayers and non-profits should have preference. Do not displace them.

These fields belong to the tax paying residents of stamford. They are for our families and should not be used to line the pockets of private sporting clubs who profit from renting these facilities.

By not making it affordable to allowing children to have access to youth sports would in turn create more youth idle time to be turned into negatives rather than supported by positives. Keeping our youth involved and engage deters from crime and wrong doings and fosters a better community.

Every child has the right to affordable team sports and commercializing sports fields means taking away that right from them. Find another way to fill Stamford's budget gap.

I think it's a conflict of interest to get profit companies to work with this organisation.

Sysl does a great job teaching these kids responsibility and teamwork and respect and also keep the kids off the streets. They don't turn away any kids, they make sure every kid that wants to play soccer has a opportunity to play
