I'm not sure who I should send this petition to. But given the trends in mental health and suicide rates amongst today's youth. I strongly feel that social media platforms should increase the minimum age requirement to 18 in order to create an account. I also feel that users should have to register a credit card for age verification. There is a lot of data supporting that fact the most teenagers (young and older) lack the cognitive maturity to understand the responsibility that comes with social media.
