We have all been there. You created your account in 2012, when you were young and didn't know any better. Or, you simply could not think of a good username and had to rush to pick one. Fast forward a few years later, and you have matured enough to realize all of the cool usernames you could've picked! Buuut, snap chat won't allow a change in username for "security reasons". Personally, I've been embarrassed by my childish username to the point where I wanted to delete my account because there was no other way. Yet, you stop and realize all the streaks you'll lose, having to start over with your snap score, re-adding friends, and so on. It really makes you wonder what is Snapchat's real reason for not allowing us to change it. Instagram does, Facebook does, why not Snapchat? I know I am not alone on this thought train! Well here is how you can change that. By signing this petition, you will voice your opinion on how important it is for snap chat users to have the freedom to change their username without having to start over.
