I'm not a trainee teacher myself but when I heard about this I was baffled at how the students have to pay full price for a virtual experience.

It is a disgrace that student teachers who have already had their studies turned upside down by the pandemic should be made pay this extortionate fee for an online course in our national language.

This is disgraceful especially during in covid time shouldn’t be that expensive even for secondary students who want to attend the Gaeltacht but parents can’t afford it

How can this fee be justified for an online course?

Absolute disgrace and just pure selfishness. These students are struggling enough during a pandemic.

I find these prices are extortionate and unfortunately there is no way to avoid paying the fees. We understand we must pay a fee however prices as high at €650 are ridiculous considering we do not get to experience the main aim of the Gaeltacht which is to be totally immersed in the Irish language.

People who are studying while working and or taking care of children selected Hibernia as it allowed them to continue working. We should not be penalised because of it. Also hibernia,s fees are way higher than all other post graduate courses putting individuals deeper into debt.
